French Onion Stuffing Balls

Stuffing with an oniony meaty twist!

Ingredients

  • 200g/7oz butter, chopped
  • 4 bacon rashers, finely chopped
  • 200g button mushrooms, thinly sliced
  • 2 garlic cloves, crushed
  • ¼ cup parsley & thyme, finely chopped
  • 4½ cups fresh breadcrumbs
  • 35g/1.2oz French onion soup mix
  • 4 eggs, lightly beaten
  • 3 tbsp water
  • 8 ham slices, halved lengthwise

Method

  • Melt the butter in your Whatever Pan.
  • Add in the bacon and mushroom, then cook for 12 minutes until golden.
  • Mix in the garlic and herbs. Cook until fragrant.
  • Transfer it to a bowl and allow it to cool.
  • Preheat the oven to 200°C/400°F. 
  • Once cooled, combine the breadcrumbs and soup mix.
  • Thoroughly mix in the pepper, eggs and water.
  • Form the mixture into equal-sized balls and wrap them in ham, then place them into your cleaned Whatever Pan lined with baking paper.
  • Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden.
  • Serve with your roast meal and enjoy.
