Duck Legs in Beer

A rich, one-pan dinner for three, cooked slowly to give you thin, crispy skin and beautiful, melt-in-your-mouth meat.

Ingredients

  • 3 duck legs
  • 210g/7 oz. chopped carrots
  • 2 chopped onions
  • 90g/3 oz. celery roots
  • 4 sprigs of thyme
  • 2 tbs honey
  • 420ml/15 oz. beer
  • Salt & pepper, to taste

Instructions

  • Place your duck legs in a pan and fry them for a few minutes until golden, season with salt and pepper.
  • Set aside. Add carrots, onions, celery roots, thyme and season with salt and pepper.
  • Fry for a few minutes and place your duck legs on top of the vegetables.
  • Finally, add the honey and beer, cook for 40 min and serve!
